Heirloom Wool Duvets

Our Heirloom Wool Duvets are handmade on Saltspring Island using local wool, wrapped in linen and cotton. The wool is collected or delivered from our local farmers, sorted, hand washed and carded before being placed inside our cotton & linen covers.  

Wool is hypoallergenic and does not hold water & sweat so it is  bacteria and mold resistant and does not attract dust mites. It is naturally thermoregulating, keeping you warm in the winter and cool in the summer and perfect if one person is always hot and the other cold in bed, you will both be magically the right temperature.

You have a choice when you select our wool duvets. Do you want your duvet to be placed inside a Duvet Cover so you can wash the cover regularly ? If so we make our duvets with 100% natural, prewashed undyed cotton to be the perfect match with your duvet cover. This covered duvet suits people with young children jumping all over or bed friendly pets.

You can also select from our "Quilt" range and have your wool duvet take center stage as piece of Art on top of your bed.

Cleaning your Wool Duvet-we get asked alot about how to clean your wool duvet? First of all, your wool duvet does not hold moisture so it does not attract mold and dust, so it does not really need cleaning, just  air it regularly in the fresh air. If you need to spot wash your duvet go right ahead and towel dry.
