In 2023, just 2 years ago Hundred Hills Home began with a simple act of making a baby duvet from some fleeces I had collected locally and an old Ralph Lauren cotton sheet. It was a practical gift made with love, stitched together with intention and care for a grandchild. That humble beginning marked the start of something much bigger: a slow-made journey into the beauty of wool, a love of local craftsmanship, and a deep desire to create meaningful pieces for everyday life.
Since then, what started as a single handmade piece has grown into a full collection of heirloom wool goods. Today, Hundred Hills Home makes wool duvets in all sizes, from tiny cribs to grand king beds with perfect mattress toppers & wool pillows. We've added custom services for all our home furnishings from sofa and chair toppers for cozy evenings, bespoke curtains, and custom toppers & cushions to suit all styles.
Our rugged adventure range of swags and picnic blankets was dreamt up through the winter of 24/25 while we travelled through the rockies and wilds of British Columbia to Freeride ski events with my son. We imagined sleeping under the stars, snugs to wrap around you in front of the fire, and heirloom picnic blankets built to last many lifetimes. Every item is sewn by hand on Salt Spring Island, with the same care and simplicity that shaped that very first baby duvet.
As we mark two years, we are proud to expand our custom styling for homes and boats, helping bring warmth, texture, and relaxed peace to the spaces people love most. Whether it's tailoring wool pieces to suit a family cabin, a coastal home, or the curves of a wooden sailboat, our work is still rooted in that same feeling: making something thoughtful and lasting with what’s close at hand. Thank you for being part of this journey, it means the world.
